EDUC 593 - Primary Education A cross-disciplinary examination of the major tenets guiding practice in the field of early childhood education from historical and philosophical perspectives. Various models of delivery systems are examined to guide the student in the formulation of a philosophy of early childhood education. Emphasizes knowledge and skills necessary for effective and resourceful early childhood teachers of all children, including the special requirements of educating infants and toddlers. Field experience required.
