EDUC 574 - Foundations of Adult Learning

This course provides a comprehensive overview of theory, current research, and applications of adult learning. Emphasis is placed on understanding major adult learning theories, andragogy, learning contexts, motivation, stages, and styles of learning, and other adult learning models. Exploration of adult development through physiological, psychological, sociological, and cultural perspectives provides an allinclusive framework for understanding the needs of the adult learner.
