The course is intended to help students develop ways to answer questions and generate potential solutions to improve practice. The course examines three areas of applied research: evaluation research, research and development, and action research. Students will develop an Applied Research Proposal that includes a research question that could be a potential topic for their dissertation, definitions of terms, limitations of the study, significance of the study, and a literature review.
