PHST 312 - Aging in the United States Credit Hours: 3
Provides an overview of the processes of aging, with an emphasis on real world questions such as why the shift to an aging society matters, how we study aging, why people age in different ways, the diverse work and living conditions of people age 65 and older, and how formal and informal programs influence age-based challenges and opportunities. Due to universality of aging, applications can be made to every student’s personal and professional life.
