WRLD 390 - World Language Proficiency

Credit Hours: 3-6

Students who attended school in a different language and/or have extensive experience abroad and, as a result, have achieved fluency in a language other than English may take the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Exam to demonstrate their language competency. A proficiency score of Intermediate High will appear on the student’s transcript as 3 credits, and a proficiency score of Advanced Low or above will appear on the student’s transcript as 6 credits.

Repeatability: Students may take the OPI as many times as they like; however, they may only use this course one time for credit.
