PHST 308 - Community Health

Credit Hours: 3

This course provides an introduction to community and public health practice, discussion of contemporary public health and community health concerns, and an overview of community and public health programs. Specific emphasis is placed on the role of public health agencies in health promotion and disease prevention. Students will participate in community-engaged experiential learning.
