ENGL 121 - Composition Credit Hours: 3
In Composition, students learn research skills, citation and documentation styles, formatting techniques, articulating an argument for an audience, and methods of avoiding plagiarism. Through long- and shortform written assignments, students acquire the skills to write successfully for academic settings, professional life, and interpersonal communication.
Prerequisite: Placement or completion of ENGL 110 . ENGL 121 is a prerequisite for all ENGL courses except ENGL 110 . Restrictions: Does not satisfy hours for the English major or minor.
