Art Major Requirements: (38 Hours)
- One art course elective
- Portfolio for acceptance into major program
- One to three pieces may be retained as part of the student section of the Permanent Art Collection
Completion of Junior Year Review Prior to the Senior Capstone Review
Capstone Experience Requirements:
- Electronic Portfolio development
- Art-related writings
- Development of interdisciplinary art
- Development of inter-cultural diversity art
- Development of technology related to art
Education Licensure
Prepares students to teach Visual Arts, grades 7-12. Contact the education department or the education department website for specific course requirements. You will have one advisor in Art and one in Education.
