The Occupational Science major is designed primarily for already certified occupational therapy assistants (OTA’s) who hold an Associate of Science (AS) degree and wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in preparation for attending a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or doctoral program in Occupational Therapy.
Our program continues the occupation-based focus began in a comprehensive OTA program, and includes three OT specific content courses that will be taught by masters-trained and/or doctoral-trained occupational therapists. These foundational courses are supported by an array of holistic courses in psychology, anatomy and biological sciences, nutrition, wellness, informatics, statistics and communications.

- Adjust your course load: take only 1 or up to 4 courses each term
- Choose the pace at which you will complete your program: take courses in just one term each year,or in all 4
- Customized dual majors and or/minors: Your Health-Related Program Advisor will help you create a curriculum plan to meet your career goals
