ENGL 231 - British Literature to 1800

In this course, students explore significant literary works, movements, and authors from Great Britain, covering a period from Anglo-Saxon times to the Neoclassical era. ENGL 231 covers canonical authors as well as works from historically marginalized groups, such as women, racial and ethnic minorities, and LGBTQ+ voices.
