ENGL 123 - Introduction to Literature

This course is a gateway to a variety of literary forms, including fiction and nonfiction, prose and poetry, drama, and other genres. Through studying works of literature, students gain the skill of analysis and learn to make connections between literature, culture, and the self. English majors and minor can only apply either ENGL 123 or ENGL 124 toward their degree, not both.
