ENVC 231 - Career Development in Conservation Science


Credit Hours: 1

Orients students to the field of Conservation Science as well as to the array of career opportunities that can extend from a major in this field.  Weekly readings explore current issues, areas of focus and future opportunities within the field. In addition, students are challenged to investigate the array of career options within career fields extending from the Conservation Science major. As part of the course experience, students are required to develop a presentation focused on a particular career area within Conservation Science based on research conducted using resources available through the University’s Career Development Office.

Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
