JOURN 207 - Print Writing and Reporting

Credit Hours: 3

This course introduces the principles and concepts of writing and reporting for journalism outlets, including print media and the Internet. Students learn the fundamentals of reporting, interviewing, background research, writing, editing, and preparing work for publication. Furthermore, the course covers journalistic ethics and the importance of codes of conduct.

Prerequisite: ENGL 121
