MUSC 171 - String Ensemble
Credit Hours: 1
This course focuses on group instruction and performance of a stylistic, geographic, and chronological range of literature for string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass). An intermediate performance ability, basic musicianship, and ability to read traditionally notated music are required. Throughout the course, students are expected to demonstrate improvement of individual musicianship, develop the ability to work collaboratively with others, and undertake projects and experiences related to musical performance.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit
