GBST 495 - Senior Seminar Credit Hours: 3
The Global Studies capstone experience is completed with students across the various tracks offered by the major, Global Organizations and Security, Global Humanities, and International Business. Students reflect upon their coursework in the major, including their individual High Impact Experience, and work on individual, written research projects that they will present to an audience of faculty, fellow majors, and the larger Muskingum community. Following the design of the Global Studies major, the seminar is interdisciplinary in structure and prepares students for living and working in a global context. The capstone experience emphasizes the importance of intercultural competence for living in a global society society and allows students to orient themselves to their interests within that society.
Prerequisite: Junior or Senior Global Studies majors or permission of instructor.
