EDUC 414 - Reading Assessment and Intervention

Examines research-based principles, techniques, and materials used in the assessment of reading skills and in the diagnosis of reading difficulties and intervention strategies for addressing them. Addresses cultural and linguistic differences in the assessment phases. Includes applications of educational technology.

Prerequisite: EDUC 371 or EDUC 372
Field Hours Requirement: Required field experience: 10 hours.
